The Coosa Valley Academy baseball team pounded Jackson Academy 10-2 in high school baseball action March 7.

Garrett McMillan led the Rebels (12-2) with two hits and three RBIs.

Jarrod Mims finished with two hits and an RBI. Hunter Roe finished with two hits. Stephen Cryer finished with a hit and an RBI.

Preston Parker had a hit and an RBI. Hunter Winslett had a hit. Kyle Batson finished with a double.

Nick Bates picked up the win on the mound to improve to 4-0 this season. Bates struck out eight batters and allowed only one earned run with one walk in six innings.
