Indian Springs tops Pelham in tennis match

The Indian Springs School girls’ tennis team defeated Pelham 7-2 in a high school tennis match March 7.
Indian Springs won five of six singles’ matches and one doubles’ match against Pelham.
Erin McMinn of Indian Springs defeated Sydney Garner of Pelham 10-5 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Carley Putman of Indian Springs defeated Katie Kema of Pelham 10-6 in the No. 2 singles’ match.
Brooke Cole of Pelham defeated Ashley Ruggle of Indian Springs 10-7 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Elizabeth Miller of Indian Springs fell to Kathryn White of Pelham 10-8 in the No. 4 singles’ match.
Ellie Thomson of Indian Springs defeated Kathryn White of Pelham 10-8 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Leah Bergeron of Indian Springs defeated Elizabeth Hartsog of Pelham 10-6 in the No. 6 doubles’ match.
Garner and Kema defeated McMinn and Putman 10-8 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Cocke and White defeated Ruggle and Miller 10-7 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.
Cole and Elizabeth Hartzog of Pelham defeated Thomson and Evelyn Baxley of Indian Springs 7-2 in a tiebreaker the No. 3 doubles’ match.
