The Coosa Valley Academy softball team fell to Bessemer Academy 6-2 in high school softball action March 10.

Amelia Ripley led the Rebels at the plate as she finished 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Abby McGill went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Kala Shaw also recorded a hit.

Hope Myric, who took the loss in the circle, struck out seven batters.
