Monique and Ken Dietschweiler of Alabaster and Chris and Sarah Kendrick of Shelby are proud to announce the engagement of Kaley Kendrick to Mr. Charlie Leslie of Alabaster.

Kaley is the granddaughter of Micheline and the late Ennis Davis of Alabaster and William H. and Marilyn Kendrick of Shelby. She graduated from Thompson High School in 2006 and is currently studying marketing at the University of Montevallo.

Charlie is the son of Della and Freddie Goldsmith of Ellicott City, Md. and Charles “Skip” and Donna Leslie of Alabaster. He is the grandson of Barbara Justice of Hoover and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Leslie of Birmingham. Charlie graduated from Thompson High School in 2000. He attended the University of Alabama and graduated with a degree in accounting. He works for the Education Corporation of America.

The wedding will take place July 23, 2011.
