The Pelham High School baseball team swept Shades Valley in a high school baseball doubleheader March 22.

The Panthers (18-6) defeated Shades Valley 10-0 in the opener.

Nick Foster led Pelham at the plate as he finished 2-for-3. Foster drove in three runs and scored a run in the victory. Reed Bright went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs scored.

Trevor Fitts (5-1) picked up the win on the mound after striking out 11 batters and giving up only two hits in a five-inning complete game.

Pelham defeated Shades Valley 8-0 in the nightcap.

Tanner Jackson led the Panthers at the plate as he finished 3-for-3 with a double. Jackson drove in three runs and scored two runs in the victory.

Jake Williams drove in two runs.

Hunter Soleymani (4-2) earned the win on the mound after striking out 13 batters and giving up only four hits in a complete game.
