The Chelsea High School boys’ golf team won a tri-match with Shelby County and Calera at Coosa Pines Golf Club in Childersburg in high school golf action March 22.

The Hornets carded a team total of 152 to clinch the match. Shelby County fired a team total of 177 and Calera finished with a team score of 211.

Jesse Goss and Tyler Shope of Chelsea were the co-medalist in the tri-match. Goss and Shope each fired a nine-hole score of 37.

Chelsea topped Shelby County in a girls’ match at Coosa Pines.

Rachel Kelley of Chelsea was the low medalist with her nine-hole score of 46.
