The following are incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from March 10-17:
March 10
-Burglary from the 3000 block of Woodbridge Drive, Birmingham. Stolen was a black 47-inch LG LCD TV valued at $1,000 and a 42-inch Samsung Plasma TV valued at $500.
-Fraudulent use of debit/credit card from the 6200 block of Eagle Point Circle, Birmingham.
-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 1500 block of Bent River Circle, Hoover. Stolen was a black leather purse valued at $75 containing various credit and gift cards valued at $100; also stolen were various non-clothing articles valued at $250, $150 in U.S. Currency, two Costa Dal Mar sunglasses valued at $500 and Maui Jim Sunglasses valued at $250.
-Theft of property from the 700 block of N. Horton Road, Wilsonville. Stolen was a negotiable instrument valued at $2,968.
-Theft of property from the 100 block of Vantana Drive, Columbiana. Stolen was a Sony Playstation valued at $150 and wooden dresser of unknown value.
-Public intoxication and disorderly conduct from the 0 block of Camelia Lane, Maylene.
-Theft of property from Water Oak Street, Montevallo. Stolen was scrap aluminum valued at $50 and 350 feet of yellow, red and orange extension cord valued at $250.
-Harassment from the 0 block of Rainey Alley, Wilton.
-Miscellaneous information from the 10000 block of Highway 11, Chelsea.
-Harassment from the 2300 block of Highway 39, Chelsea.
-Disorderly conduct and resisting arrest from County Road 17 at County Road 52, Helena.
-Use of force from County Road 17 at County Road 52, Helena.
March 11
-Dissemination of child pornography from the 2700 block of Berkeley Drive, Birmingham.
-Possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia from Highway 145 near County Road 99, Shelby.
-Domestic violence-assault and theft of property from the 100 block of Nelson Circle.
-Burglary 3rd from the 400 block of Highway 406, Shelby. Stolen was approximately 50 feet of copper water pipe valued at $1,500 and a Playstation 2 valued at $100.
-Burglary 3rd from the 0 block of Ruby Drive, Columbiana. Stolen was a metal table top fire safe/lockbox valued at $50, 20 Trazadone and 75 Morphine 30mg pills.
-Unlawful breaking and entering vehicle from the 3000 block of Buck Horn Cove, Birmingham. Stolen (and recovered the same day) was a ladies wallet with a small amount of cash and assorted bank cards and IDs.
-Theft of property from Clairmont Road, Sterrett. Stolen was a red chainsaw with a circular blade valued at $600, a gray miter saw valued at $225, an orange and gray weed eater valued at $240 and a skill drill set valued at $150.
-Domestic violence from the 9400 block of Highway 11, Chelsea.
-Domestic violence (harassment) from the 9400 block of Highway 11, Chelsea.
-Theft of property from the 1000 block of Dunnavant Place, Birmingham. Stolen was six books of checks and a transaction register for check.
-Death investigation from the 5100 block of Stratford Road, Birmingham.
-Leaving the scene of an accident from U.S. 280 and Cahaba Valley Road. An unknown amount of damage was done to a silver two-door 1996 Honda Accord.
-Property damage from the 4600 block of Highway 280, Birmingham. An unknown amount of damage was done to a gray 4-door 2008 Dodge Charger.
-Theft of property from the 8000 block of Highway 51. Stolen was a Waste Management trash can valued at $100.
-Theft of property and recovered property from 2315 Highway 39 (Chelsea Middle School). Stolen and recovered the same day was a wallet (valued at $30) containing an ID card with the victim’s name and a two gift cards with a total value of $95.
-Theft of property and recovered property from 2315 Highway 39 (Chelsea Middle School). Stolen and recovered the same day was a black wallet valued at $50. Stolen but not recovered was $23 in U.S. Currency.
-Miscellaneous information from the 2000 block of County Road 26 (in roadway), Saginaw. Busted out was a driver’s side rear window.
-Civil dispute from the 1700 block of Woodbrock Trail, Alabaster.
-Miscellaneous information from the 3900 block of Highway 221, Montevallo.
-Miscellaneous information from the 6000 block of County Road 22, Montevallo. Recovered was a black .22 caliber long rifle.
-Domestic investigation from the 0 block of Grant Street, Wilton.
-Domestic investigation from the 2600 block of Heatherbrooke Road, Birmingham.
-Death investigation from the 500 block of Camp Branch Road, Saginaw.
March 12
-Domestic dispute from Forest Lakes Drive, Sterrett.
-Domestic investigation from the 100 block of Apache Road, Wilsonville.
-Harassing communications from the 100 block of Rinehart Lane, Shelby.
-Assault from Barnett Trailer Park, Montevallo.
-Domestic violence/harassment from Pickens Drive, Westover.
-Miscellaneous information from the 700 block of Shelby Forest Trail, Chelsea.
-Theft of property from the 100 block of Asberry Road, Montevallo. Stolen was a service meter issued by Alabama Power Company and valued at $100.
-Attempting to elude and traffic pursuit from Highway 280 W. and Cahaba Park Circle.
-Harassing communications from the 2200 block of Cahaba Valley Road.
-Harassing communications from the 500 block of Thornberry Lane, Birmingham.
-Criminal mischief from the 500 block of Highway 57, Vincent.
-Domestic violence-harassment from the 100 block of Melton Street, Montevallo.
-Possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana 2nd from Highway 71 at Highway 311, Shelby.
-Burglary from 5389 Highway 39 (UAB Health Center). Stolen (and recovered the same day) was a metal part of a generator/compressor.
-Theft of property from the 500 block of Caldwell Mill Circle, Birmingham. Stolen was a charcoal-colored men’s suit valued at $500, 15 DVDs valued at $300 and a wicker basket valued at $50.
-Theft of property from the 9000 block of Highway 11, Chelsea. Saboxone strips (43 count) were stolen.
-Domestic violence/assault from the 8000 block of Highway 51, Westover.
-Unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from U.S. 280/Brookhighland Plaza, Birmingham. Recovered was a baggie containing one gram of green leafy substance, a rolled cigarette with one gram of leafy green substance, a glass pipe and a pack of rolling papers.
-Property damage from the 200 block of Chesser Plantation Lane, Chelsea. Damaged was a steel mailbox and post valued at $500.
March 13
-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and driving under the influence of alcohol from Interstate 65 N at Exit 242, Pelham. Recovered was a clear plastic bag containing approximately .05 grams of suspected methamphetamine.
-Domestic investigation from the 7500 block of Highway 70, Calera.
-Theft of property from the 3100 block of Lullwater Road, Birmingham. Stolen were two watches valued at $300.
-Theft of property and criminal mischief from Highway 280 W. at Old Highway 280, Chelsea. Stolen was approximately 569 feet of black cable approximately 2.5 inches in diameter.
-Fleeing law enforcement and DUI-alcohol from Selma Street and Highway 25 in Montevallo. Recovered was an Alabama driver’s license.
-Duty to stop and remain at scene from U.S. 280/Sunrise Lane. Minor damage was done to all sides of a grey Chevrolet.
-Miscellanous information from 19140 Highway 145 (South Shelby Baptist), Shelby.
-Allowing dogs to run at large from River Drive at Hebb Road, Wilsonville.
-Permitting livestock to run at large from the 200 block of Wooten Road, Alabaster.
March 14
-Unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance from the 100 block of High Road, Vandiver. Recovered was a Tupperware container containing rubber hose, two liter bottle, Gatorade bottle and other items that were at the time unidentified.
-Unlawful breaking and entering of motor vehicle from Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham. Stolen was $100 in U.S. Currency and two credit cards.
-Theft of property from the 5400 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham. Stolen was $70 in U.S. Currency, and two credit cards.
-Identity theft from the 200 block of Clairmont Road, Sterrett. Stolen was a student loan valued at $8,500 and an additional loan valued at $26,107.67.
-Identity theft from Ridgeview Lake Road, Alabaster.
-Unauthorized use of credit card from the 300 block of Church Street, Wilton.
-Theft of property from the 2700 block of Highway 25, Wilton. Stolen was various scrap metal valued at $100 and game camera IR2 “Wildgame” valued at $70.
-Miscellaneous information from Eagle PT Corporate Drive, Birmingham.
-Miscellaneous information from Talladega Federal Prison.
-Domestic violence (harassment) from the 0 block of AL-Youth Home Drive, Westover.
-Miscellaneous information from the 100 block of School Road, Shelby.
-Domestic violence-assault from the 100 block of Chester Lane, Chelsea.
March 15
-Fugitive from justice from the 10000 block of Highway 55, Westover.
-Animal complaint from the 1100 block of Meadow Drive, Birmingham.
-Harassing communications from Apache Drive, Wilsonville.
-Harassing communications from the 3400 block of Inverness Cliffs, Birmingham.
-Domestic investigation-menacing from the 200 block of Davis-Hawkins Street, Montevallo.
-Domestic violence/harassment from the 400 block of Spring Creek Road, Montevallo.
-Miscellaneous information from the 9000 block of Highway 155, Montevallo.
-Miscellaneous information from the 2000 block of Trot Lane, Birmingham. Recovered was check dated 3/11/2011 for $3,900.
March 16
-Damage to property from Brook Highland Drive, Birmingham. Damage of $2,000 was done to shrubs/landscaping.
-Breaking and entering vehicle from Highway 280, Sterrett. An unknown amount of damage was done to a white 2000 Freightliner FL 70.
-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from Forest Lakes Lane, Sterrett.
-Theft of property from the 100 block of Robertson Road, Wilsonville. Stolen was a black Nintendo Wii console and a Wii remote.
-Violation of protection order from the 4100 block of Highway 47, Shelby.
-Miscellaneous information from the 4100 block Highway 47, Shelby.
-Domestic investigation from the 10000 block of Highway 55 Lot 12, Westover.
-Miscellaneous information from the 100 block of Cripple Creek Lane, Vandiver.
-Civil dispute from Lime Creek Lane, Chelsea.
-Lost property from an unknown location at Heardmont Park, Birmingham. Lost were eight $1 bills, a debit card, an Alabama driver’s license, a brown leather bi-fold wallet, a student ID card and a Social Security card.
-Domestic violence-harassment from the 11000 block of Highway 17, Montevallo.
-Death investigation from the 4000 block of Highway 28, Columbiana.
March 17
-Death investigation from Sheffield Way, Birmingham.
-Theft of property from Highway 25, Wilton. Stolen was a radiator valued at $1,250.
-Theft of property from the 0 block of Sheffield Road, Columbiana. Damaged was a rear bedroom window valued at $150, interior sheetrock walls valued at $3,000 and copper wiring from interior walls valued at $3,000.
-Domestic violence (assault) from the 4100 block of Kesteven Drive, Birmingham.
-Domestic investigation from the 14000 block of Highway 43, Vandiver.
-Property damage from the 1000 block of Dunnavant Valley Road, Birmingham. Front-end damage was done to a white 2009 Chevy Malibu.
-Property damage from the 1000 block of Dunnavant Valley Road, Birmingham. Front-end damage was done to a black 1999 Isuzu Amigo.
