The Spain Park High School softball team edged Mountain Brook 6-5 in 10 innings in high school softball action March 24.

Erin Hornsby led the Jaguars at the plate with four singles, including a game-winning RBI single in the 10th inning.

Dekayla Sankey finished with a two-run triple and a single. Casey Craig finished with two doubles and drove in a run. April Scott finished with a double and an RBI single. Amanda Ballew finished with an RBI single.

Hannah Camp, Elizabeth Balllew, Caroline Holmes and Keri Krake finished with a single each.

Channing Haynes picked up the win in the circle.
