Ovelle Vick Love, age 91, a resident of Anniston, died on Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 27, 2011, at Bolton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Ray Cemetery. Bolton Funeral Home of Columbiana is directing. Family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Vick was born on May 19, 1919. Her parents were Albert and Minnie Vick. She was born in Shelby County, near Columbiana. She was the youngest of seven children. She joined the Baptist church when she was 16 years old. She graduated from Vincent High School in 1937. She spent 20 years of her life in Bradenton, Fla.

Mrs. Love is survived by her daughters, Connie Pollard (Everett) of Anniston and Gay Nell Davis of Anniston; grandsons, Russell Davis of Anniston, Craig Davis of Palmetto, Fla. and Rhett Pollard of Marietta, Ga.; two great-grandchildren from Marietta, Ga.; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
