Pelham defeats Northridge in tennis match

The Pelham High School boys’ tennis team defeated Northridge 8-1 in high school tennis action March 24.
The Panthers won all six singles’ matches and two of the three doubles’ matches against Northridge.
Jim Flaniken of Pelham defeated Thomas Arnold of Northridge 6-2, 6-0 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Trevor Tucker of Pelham defeated Kennedy Briettner of Northridge 6-4, 6-2 in the No. 2 singles’ match.
Peyton Davis of Pelham defeated Zach Faught of Northridge 4-6, 6-2, 7-6 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Taylor Honeycutt of Pelham defeated Alex Shealy of Northridge 6-4, 6-1 in the No. 4 singles’ match.
Jacob Dolinger of Pelham defeated Tim Davis of Northridge 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Anthony DeLeonard of Pelham defeated Jackson Wilburn of Northridge 3-6, 6-4, 10-3 in the No. 6 singles’ match.
Flaniken and Tucker defeated Arnold and Faught 10-1 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Davis and Honeycutt defeated Briettner and Connor Fredly 11-9 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.
Dolinger and DeLeonard fell to Shealy and Connor Nelson 10-8 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
