The Kingwood Christian School softball team edged Tuscaloosa Academy 3-2 in high school softball action March 28.

Jordan Gray led the Lions (27-1) at the plate as she finished 3-for-3 with two home runs and a double.

Whitney Gillespie finished 2-for-3 with a home run. Blair Holsombeck finished with two hits. Kaylee Morris drove in three runs with a double and a sacrifice fly.

Gillespie earned the win in the circle after giving up four earned runs on six hits with 10 strikeouts in a complete game.
