The Oak Mountain High School softball team fell to Hoover 1-0 in a Class 6A, Area 10 contest March 31.

Nicole Kehr led the Eagles (17-5 overall, 1-1 in Class 6A, Area 10) at the plate as she finished 2-for-3 with a double. Caroline Seitz went 3-for-4 at the plate.

Kehr took the loss in the circle after giving up one earned run on three hits with six strikeouts and a walk in a complete game.
