The Spain Park High School girls’ soccer team fell to Mountain Brook 2-1 in a Class 6A, Section 5 match March 31.

Annalika Steyn scored the lone goal for the Jaguars (13-3 overall, 4-1 in Class 6A, Section 5) in the first half, which gave Spain Park an early 1-0 lead. However, Mountain Brook closed out the match with two unanswered goals to clinch the victory.

Spain Park goalkeeper Schyler Arnold finished with five saves in the match.
