The Coosa Valley Academy team defeated Lee-Scott Academy 12-2 in high school baseball action March 31.

Hunter Roe led the Rebels (24-4) at the plate as he finished with three hits, including a home run, and drove in two runs.

Jarrod Mims finished with two hits, including a double, and drove in one run. Saxon Grimes had a double and drove in two runs. Preston Parker finished with a double and drove in one run.

Garrett McMillan, John Bullen and Stephen Cryer finished with one hit each. Bullen also drove in one run.

Daniel Kennedy earned the win on the mound after giving up two unearned runs on three hits in five innings.
