The Coosa Valley Academy baseball team pounded Chambers Academy 27-0 in high school baseball action April 1.

Landon Floyd led the Rebels (25-4) at the plate as he finished with two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs.

Jarrod Mims collected four hits, including a home run and a double. Cody Garrett had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs. Saxon Grimes finished with two hits, including a double, and drove in a run.

Hunter Roe finished with two doubles and drove in one run. Garrett McMillan had a double and drove in one run. Stephen Cryer had a triple and drove in two runs. Cody Wood finished with a double and drove in two runs. John Bullen finished with two hits and drove in a run.

Preston Parker finished with a hit and drove in a run. Myles Varner had two hits. Ryan Batson added one hit. Nick Bates finished with a hit and drove in a run.

Bates earned his sixth win of the season on the mound after giving up just one hit in a three-inning complete game.
