The Calera High School baseball team defeated Midfield 10-9 in a Class 4A, Area 8 contest April 5.

J.R. Posey led the Eagles at the plate as he finished 4-for-4 and drove in two runs.

Jeremy Hyde went 3-for-4 with a home run and drove in four runs. Chase Rockco finished 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in one run.

Michael Marfice earned the win on the mound. Hyde earned a save in the victory.
