George and Sharon Bentley and Tom Barnes are proud to announce the engagement of Rachel Barnes of Columbiana to Mr. Jason Dillard of Birmingham.

Rachel is the granddaughter of the late Harold and Rachel Benson of Birmingham. She graduated from Shelby County High School in 1998 and graduated from Auburn University with a degree in logistics.

Jason is the son of James and Gail Dillard of Birmingham and the grandson of the late John and Mary Dillard and the late Virgil and Corrine Hammock, all of Birmingham. He graduated from Thompson High School in 1996 and graduated from Shelton State with a degree in business management. Jason is a professional golfer.

The wedding is set to take place November 19, 2011.
