The Westminster School at Oak Mountain boys’ tennis team defeated Indian Springs School 8-1 in high school tennis action April 13.

The Knights won five of the six singles’ matches and all three doubles’ matches against Indian Springs.

Richard Robey of Westminster won the No. 1 singles’ match 8-6. Adam Gurley of Westminster won the No. 2 singles’ match 8-6. Mark McClure of Westminster won the No. 4 singles’ match 8-0.

Jake Doggett of Westminster won the No. 5 singles’ match 8-1. Wellford Moore of Westminster won the No. 6 singles’ match 8-4.

Robey and Gurley won the No. 1 doubles’ match 8-4. Mark McClure and Scott McClure of Westminster won the No. 2 doubles’ match 8-1.

Doggett and Moore won the No. 3 doubles’ match 8-2.
