The Briarwood Christian School softball team fell to Mortimer Jordan 2-1 in high school softball action April 14.

Ashlyn Boyd led the Lions as she finished 2-for-3 at the plate. Boyd drove in one run in the defeat.

Abbey Muir finished 1-for-3 at the plate.

Linley Splawn took the loss in the circle after giving up two earned runs on seven hits with three strikeouts and two walks in a complete game.
