The Kingwood Christian School softball team defeated Bessemer Academy 10-0 in high school softball action April 14.

Kaylyn Ingram and Jordan Gray led the Lions with an RBI single each.

Madeline Lee and Whitney Gillespie drove in two runs each in the victory. Erin Jones drove in one run.

Gillespie earned the win in the circle after giving up just one hit with 13 strikeouts in a five-inning complete game.
