The Thompson High School softball team defeated Hueytown 4-0 in high school softball action April 16.

Rebecca Victory led the Warriors (24-11) at the plate as she finished 2-for-2 with two doubles. Victory drove in three runs in the victory.

Savannah Gossett finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and drove in one run. Rachel Rigney went 2-for-3 at the plate.

Rigney earned the win in the circle after giving up just three hits with 12 strikeouts and a walk in a complete game.
