The Oak Mountain High School girls’ soccer team defeated Gardendale in a Class 6A, Section 5 match April 19.

Toni Payne led the Eagles (14-3 overall, 7-3 in Class 6A, Section 5) with three goals in the victory.

Bailee Harnett added two goals and three assists. Haley Gerken, T.J. Langlois and Allie Mosher added one goal and one assist each.

Greer Maddox and Katie West scored one goal each. Megan Dancy and Montana Etten-Bohn finished with two assists each.

Oak Mountain goalkeeper Jill Hester posted the shutout.

BOYS

Reid Biasco, Mills Sproull, John Imwalle and Kelechi Iwauba scored one goal each in the victory.

Caleb Thomas and Gary Johnston finished with one assist each.

Oak Mountain goalkeeper Brenton Thompson posted one save in the shutout.
