Commission approves fire museum project

COLUMBIANA – The Shelby County Commission on April 25 approved the county to move forward with its fire museum project.

The commission adopted a resolution authorizing County Manager Alex Dudchock to proceed with development and implementation of the museum.

The county is partnering with Calera to construct the eventual fire museum building of approximately 40,000 square feet a couple blocks off Interstate 65 exit 228.
