The Pelham High School softball team defeated Chilton County 10-0 in high school softball action April 25.

Lindsey Pyle led the Panthers at the plate as she finished 2-for-3 with two home runs. Pyle drove in three runs and scored two runs in the victory.

Mary Morgan Dramer, who drove in two runs and scored three runs, finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a triple. Erin Whitman, who drove in two runs and scored one run, went 2-for-2 at the plate with a double.

Emily Spain, who drove in two runs and scored one run, finished 1-for-2 at the plate. Brittany Contorno finished 1-for-2 at the plate and scored one run. Kayla Watson finished 1-for-1 at the plate and scored one run. Krista Shirley finished 1-for-1 at the plate. Alicia Richardson scored one run.

Jennifer Davis earned the win in the circle after giving up just two hits with seven strikeouts and a walk in a five-inning complete game.
