As one of only four at-large qualifiers, University of Montevallo senior Emily Gibson began her second NCAA Division II Super Regional tournament May 1 with a 2-over par 74 at The Club at Eaglebrooke in Lakeland, Fla.

Gibson, who sits just three strokes behind the leaders, is currently in a two-way tie for seventh overall in individual standings with Peach Belt Conference foe Meghan Moore from the University of North Carolina in Pembroke.

Gibson, a Toronto, Ontario native, will open round two at 8 a.m. May 2. The final 18 holes will be played May 3. Live scoring will be available for both days through GolfStat.
