The Spain Park High School softball team edged Vestavia Hills 4-3 in the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 12 tournament May 6.

Hannah Camp led the Jaguars with a two-run homer, which put Spain Park ahead in the sixth inning.

Casey Craig added an RBI double and scored a run in the victory. April Scott finished 1-for-4 with a double and scored a run.

Haleigh Sisson earned the win in relief after giving up two runs on five hits with a strikeout and two walks.
