The Thompson High School boys’ soccer team ended its season with a 5-0 loss to undefeated Vestavia Hills in the second round of the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A playoffs May 6.

Vestavia Hills jumped out to a 4-0 lead at halftime and cruised to victory.

Thompson goalkeeper Eric Hubbard led the Warriors (17-10-1) with seven saves in the defeat.
