Defending champions fall to Arab in playoff match

The Briarwood Christian School girls’ soccer team fell to Arab 4-2 in the second round of the Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 5A playoffs May 7.

Sarah Drew Mulvaney and Catherine Cowen scored one goal each for the defending AHSAA Class 5A champions in the defeat.
