Robert Lewis King, age 75, of Montevallo passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011.

Mr. King retired from Bell South, was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and a veteran. He was also an avid supporter of St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and he graduated and taught at Memphis State University.

He is survived by his wife, Norma King; two sons, Bobby King (Pattie) and Barrey King (June), both of California; two grandsons, three granddaughters and sister, Elaine Keller.

Visitation will be held Sunday, May 22, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo. Funeral service will be held Monday, May 23, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at the Alabama National Cemetery at 11:45 a.m. Rev. Shelby Batson will officiate. Pam Bolton Hollyfield will sing during the service.
