FROM STAFF REPORTS

Alabaster CityFest organizers are giving event attendees a chance to help the state’s tornado victims while also entering for a chance to meet the festival’s headline musical groups.

Anyone who drops off non-perishable food items or makes a monetary donation at CityFest will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win two VIP tickets with “meet and greet” passes for Craig Morgan or two VIP tickets with “meet and greet” passes for Vertical Horizon.

Look for the food donation sites at the CityFest main entrance and in the parking area. Monetary donations will benefit the “BAMA Rising Fund of the Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham.”

Alabaster CityFest is set for this Saturday, June 4. Gates open at 9 a.m. For more information go www.alabastercityfest.com.
