Alabaster’s Movies in the Park kicking off June 10

The Alabaster Parks and Recreation Department will begin holding its annual summer Movies in the Park series June 10 at Veterans Park.
The movies will begin at dusk on June 10, June 24 and July 2, 8 and 22 at the park at 7305 Alabama 119. The events are free, and will feature video game theaters, outdoor laser tag and giant hamster balls from the Games2U company from 6-8 p.m. prior to each movie.
June 10 will feature the movie “Despicable Me,” June 24 will feature “Furry Vengeance,” July 2 will feature “Yogi Bear,” July 8 will feature the movie “Cats and Dogs,” and the series will wrap up July 22 with “The Blind Side.”
Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair to sit on, snacks and drinks.
