Frances Irene Benton, age 81, a resident of Columbiana, formerly of Adamsville, passed away at Columbiana Health and Rehabilitation on Saturday, June 18, 2011. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Bolton Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in Summerhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service at Bolton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Benton is preceded in death by daughter, Brenda Sue McKinney. Mrs. Benton is survived by her husband, William Alfred Benton; son, Mike Benton (Sandra); grandchildren, Kerri Lomas (Donnie), Michael Benton, Jr., Mark Benton, Sherry Ray (John), Donna Hallmark (Bryan), Billie Young (Kelly); nine great-grandchildren; and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
