The following are incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from June 23-30:
June 23
-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 3000 block of Chelsea Ridge Drive (residence, home), Chelsea. Stolen were sunglasses valued at $200 and an iPOD speaker dock.
-Domestic violence (assault) and felon in possession of a firearm from the 6000 block of Highway 47 (residence, home), Shelby.
-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication from the BP parking lot at U.S. 280 and Highway 119 (convenience store), Birmingham. Recovered was a plastic bag containing a suspected hallucinogenic mushroom.
-Theft of property from an unknown location (other, unknown). Stolen was an iPhone valued at $400.
-Harassing communications from the 50000 block of Highway 25 (residence, home), Leeds.
-Criminal mischief from the 5000 block of Valleydale Road (highway, street), Birmingham. Damaged was paint on the hood of a gray 2011 Toyota Tacoma.
-Miscellaneous information from U.S. 280 (other, unknown), Birmingham.
-Domestic violence (assault) from the 2000 block of Highway 31 (residence, home), Calera.
-Domestic investigation from the 100 block of Church Street (residence, home), Wilton.
-Theft of property from the 400 block of Dusty Hollow Road (residence, home), Columbiana. Stolen was a Compaq Presario laptop computer valued at $400.
-Theft of property from the 200 block of Still Meadow Circle (other, unknown), Columbiana. Stolen was $600 in U.S. currency, 10 gallons of gas and a gas can valued at $40, white gold earrings valued at $200, a gift bag with golf balls, tees and a $50 gift card valued at $55 and a yellow gold ring with silver center with circle of small diamonds valued at $400.
-Identity theft from an unknown location (other, unknown). Stolen from a debit card was $189.
-Forgery from the 200 block of Meadowcroft Circle (residence, home), Birmingham.
June 24
-Theft of property from the 100 block of Branchwater Way (residence, home), Maylene. Stolen was $1,400 in U.S. currency.
-Theft of property from the 500 block of Reach Drive (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen was a 14kt gold and diamond antique pin (round with 8-10 diamonds) valued at $10,000, a Bromberg’s platinum and diamond (emerald cut) wedding band valued at $10,000, a 14kt gold .5 inch flat chain valued at $3,000 and a 14kt and amethyst pendant valued at $3,000.
-Theft of property and harassing communications from Diamond Drive (residence, home), Montevallo. Stolen was an Alabama driver’s license and miscellaenous food products valued at $300.
-Domestic investigation from the 8000 block of Highway 155 (residence, home), Montevallo.
-Harassment from the intersection of U.S. 280 and Rock School Road (highway, street), Harpersville.
-Property damage from U.S. 280 and Highway 51 (highway, street), Chelsea. Damaged was the front bumper, headlight, front fender and both passenger-side doors on a blue 2008 BMW 328I.
-Violation of community notification from the 1000 block of Pilgrim Lane (residence, home), Montevallo.
-Burglary from the 8000 block of Mitchell Lane (residence, home), Birmingham. Damaged was door molding on door leading from garage to kitchen.
June 25
-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and burglary from the 4100 block of Bent River Lane (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen was a 12 gauge shotgun and case valued at $1,600, a 12 gauge shotgun with various optics valued at $700, a .45 caliber pistol valued at $850 and a small safe containing paperwork valued at $100.
-Criminal mischief from the 200 block of Lennox Lane, Birmingham. Damage in the amount of $700 was done to four tires.
-Theft of property from the 7600 block of Westover Road (residence, home), Westover. Stolen was a 4-wheel drive style main drive shaft valued at $300, a vehicle battery valued at $100 and a tow package for a 1988 Ford Ranger valued at $250.
-Theft of property from U.S. 280 (department store), Chelsea. Stolen was $115.58 in assorted candy and food items.
-Damaged property from County Road 81 (highway, street), Vincent. Damage in the amount of $2,000 was done to a maroon 2005 Chevy Trailblazer.
-Suicide attempt from the 100 block of Hollow Oak Drive (residence, home), Bessemer.
-Recovered property from the 500 block of Bent River Trace (residence, home), Birmingham. Recovered was a tan canvas bag with tan steel safe and blue flashlight, a black nylon rifle case with four magazines and spike tactical rifle, a real tree nylon rifle case with 12 gauge auto shotgun and a real tree and black nylon rifle bag with pump shotgun and assorted rounds.
-Missing person from the 500 block of Heatherbrooke Road (residence, home), Birmingham.
-Misceallenous information from the 0-100 block of Eddings Lane (residence, home), Alabaster.
-Miscellaneous information from the 0-100 block of Hawthorne Street (residence, home), Birmingham.
-Domestic violence (harassment) from the 0-100 block of Rockhill Drive (residence, home), Shelby.
-Domestic violence (assault) from the 1000 block of Highway 56 (residence, home), Wilsonville.
-Domestic violence (harassment) from the 100 block of Highway 453 (residence, home), Sterrett.
-Domestic violence (harassment) from Highway 453 (residence, home), Sterrett.
-Community notification violation from the 0-100 block of Hillsdale Drive (residence, home), Columbiana.
June 26
-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and theft of property from the 4800 block of Highway 47 (parking lot, garage), Shelby. Stolen was $1,050 in U.S. currency, a wallet, debit/credit cards and an engagement ring valued at $850.
-Burglary and theft of property from the 5000 block of Highway 30 (residence, home), Wilsonville. Stolen was a TV valued at $1,300, a Playstation 3 valued at $600 and an AT&T cable box valued at $100.
-Theft of property from the 0-100 block of Ventana Drive (field, woods), Columbiana. Stolen was a Yamaha 4-wheeler valued at $2,000.
-Domestic violence (harassment) from Springfield Loop W. (residence, home), Birmingham.
-Unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from Highland Lakes Drive at U.S. 280 (highway, street), Birmingham. Recovered was a package of e-z wider 1.5 rolling papers and an unlabeled prescription bottle containing approximately 3 grams of suspected marijuana
-Miscellaneous report from Highway 39 (other, unknown), Chelsea.
-Harassment from the 100 block of Stonecrest Drive (parking lot, garage), Birmingham.
-Criminal mischief from the 3600 block of Buck Horn Cove (parking lot, garage), Birmingham. Damaged was the front driver’s side plastic bumper and front door window visor.
-Structure fire from the 2100 block of Forest Lakes Lane (residence, home), Sterrett. The attic and front door was damaged.
-Domestic violence (assault) from Ventana Road (highway, street).
June 27
-Burglary from the 6100 block of Kenley Way (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen was a custom black 1979 Gibson Les Paul guitar valued at $40,000, a 1995 Martin guitar valued at $10,000, $300 in U.S. currency and three credit/debit cards.
-Assault from the 400 block of Highway 97 (residence, home), Columbiana.
-Domestic investigation from the 4000 block of County Road 47 (highway, street), Shelby.
-False identity to obstruct justice from the 1800 block of Liberty Road (residence, home), Chelsea.
-Miscellaneous information (property damage) from the 10000 block of Old Highway 280 (department store), Chelsea. Damaged was a Bow Tech Heart Breaker Bow.
-Juvenile runaway from the 7000 block of U.S. 280 (residence, home), Chelsea.
-Harassing communications from various locations in Shelby County (other, unknown).
June 28
-Unlawful possession of controlled substance and giving false information to police from Cowboy’s on U.S. 280 (parking lot, garage), Birmingham. Pills were recovered.
-Fraudulent use of credit card from the 100 block of Woodland Circle (residence, home), Chelsea. Stolen from a Visa card was $917.86.
-Harassment from 380 McDow Road (government, public building), Columbiana.
-Structure fire from the 400 block of Highway 403 (residence, home), Shelby. A single level structure was damaged.
-Miscellaneous information from the 2200 block of Highway 31 (residence, home), Calera.
-Criminal mischief from Oakwood Drive (residence, home), Alabaster. Damage valued at $130 was done to post lamps at the end of a driveway.
-Theft of property from the 19000 block of U.S. 280 (other, unknown), Birmingham. Stolen was an iPhone with black otterbox valued at $300.
-Harassment from the 100 block of Bulldog Lane (residence, home), Columbiana.
-Miscellaneous information from the 5000 block of Highway 61 (residence, home), Columbiana.
-Theft of property and obstructing governmental operations from Cowboy’s on U.S. 280 (parking lot, garage), Birmingham. Stolen and recovered was $34 in U.S. currency.
-Domestic violence (harassment) from Hayes Circle (residence, home), Montevallo.
-Burglary and criminal mischief from the 600 block of Highway 17 (residence, home), Montevallo. Damaged was a meter box, ceiling and electrical wiring.
-Burglary from Club Way at Brook Highland drive (other, unknown), Birmingham. Damaged was the door frame to exterior door of guard shack valued at $100 and door frame to interior door valued at $100.
-Burglary from Meadowood Circle (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen was a pressure washer valued at $980 and assorted pills.
-Harassing communications from the 0-100 block of Little Rock Lane (residence, home), Alabaster.
June 29
-Violation of protective order and theft of property from the 900 block of Highway 332 (residence, home), Pelham. Stolen was a Great Pureness (white in color) valued at $50.
-Harassment from the 2800 block of Highway 93 (residence, home), Helena.
-Driving under the influence from Valleydale Road at Inverness Center Parkway (highway, street), Birmingham.
-Property damage from Old Highway 280 at County Road 11 (highway, street). Damage valued at $1,000 was done to a hood and grill.
-Criminal mischief and unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 100 block of Hunter Hills Drive (residence, home), Chelsea. Stolen was assorted CDs (about 15-20) valued at $100. Damaged was a black 1991 Mercedes E-Class 190.
-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 0-100 block of Greenhill Parkway (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen was a Garmin GPS valued at $112 and assorted power tools valued at $600.
-Theft of property from the 1700 block of Dead Hollow Road S. (residence, home), Harpersville. Stolen were two antique candelabras (silver) valued at $4,000 each, $200 in U.S. currency, 50 2mg morphine pills and a check card.
-Carrying a pistol without permit and possession of controlled substance from U.S. 280 at Highland Lakes (highway, street). Recovered was a Bersa Fire Storm .380 pistol and 24 10mg methadone pills.
-Domestic violence (harassment) from the 100 block of Otts Farm Road (residence, home), Montevallo.
-Theft of property and criminal mischief from Coalmont Road (other, unknown), Helena. Damage valued at $20,000 was done to 6-foot copper ground wires. Stolen were 6-foot copper ground wires valued at $4,000.
-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 300 block of Hunter Hills Circle (residence, home), Chelsea. Damage valued at $200 was done to the front passenger vent window of a white 1993 Ford F-250. Stolen was a trailer ball hitch and a magnetic CB antenna base.
-Theft of property from the 300 block of Heatherbrooke Road (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen was a small metal radio antennae valued at $300.
-Driving under the influence and leaving the scene of an accident from Chesapeake N. (entrance to Cahaba Lakes), Birmingham.
-Theft of property III from the 4600 block of U.S. 280 (liquor store), Birmingham. Stolen was 750ml of Gentlemen Jack whiskey valued at $41.
-Harassing communications from a pool at No. 4 Greenhill Parkway Residence Inn (hotel, motel).
-Burglary from the 400 block of Highway 8 (residence, home), Montevallo. Stolen was a .410 pump shotgun valued at $300, a Remington 12 guage auto shotgun valued at $800, a 48-inch flatscreen TV valued at $2,400, a solid gold band women’s watch valued at $400 and a gold watch with link type band valued at $400.
-Burglary from the 3000 block of Highway 93 (residence, home), Helena. Stolen and recovered was a laptop valued at $800. Stolen was an MP3 player valued at $100.
-Juvenile runaway from the 0-100 block of Mt Laurel Avenue (residence, home), Birmingham.
-Identity theft from Wells Fargo Bank (bank), Austin, Texas.
June 30
-Theft of property from a Shell Station at 5400 U.S. 280 (convenience store), Birmingham. Stolen was a silver 2003 Toyota Camry XLE.
-Abandoned vehicle from U.S. 280 and Pickens Drive (highway, street), Westover. Extensive damage was done to a black 1994 Ford Explorer XL.
-Public intoxication from U.S. 280 at Pickens Drive (residence, home), Westover.
-Burglary and theft of property from 767 Highway 31, Alabaster. An American flag was stolen. Damaged was the glass window of a front door.
