CHELSEA – A host of beautiful local celebrities will be serving barbecue for charity at Chelsea’s Johnny Ray’s on Friday, July 15.

The ladies will serve Johnny Ray’s customers from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. All tip money they receive during the specified time will be donated to the Children’s Miracle Network, which donates money to 170 children’s hospitals across the nation.

Cassandra Callens, Mi’a Callens’ mother said the Miss America pageants support the Children’s Miracle Network, and Mi’a chose to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation as a separate platform for her campaign as Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen. According to Cassandra, the contestants for the Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen pageant must be between the ages of 13 and 17, while contestants for the Miss Alabama pageant range from 17 to 24
