Two Shelby County high schools were honored for a perfect sportsmanship record during the 2010-2011 academic school year at a July 13 luncheon at the Renaissance in Montgomery during the Alabama High School Athletic Association’s All-Star Sports Week.

The Westminster School at Oak Mountain and Oak Mountain High School athletic programs were each recognized for having zero fines or ejections during the past school year.

Westminster was recognized as one of five high schools in the state that haven’t received a single ejection or fine during the previous four years when the AHSAA began tracking sportsmanship records.

The two schools were part of 101 schools that were recognized for good sportsmanship at the luncheon.
