Hoover PD seeks help with suspect IDs

Do you know who these people are? If so, the Hoover Police Department wants to hear from you. Police allege the man and woman above broke into several cars Aug. 2-4 and later used those cards to make fraudulent transactions at the Walmart on Lakeshore Drive.

HOOVER – The Hoover Police Department is asking for the public’s help identifying two suspects accused of breaking into vehicles, stealing credit cards and then making fraudulent transactions at a local retailer.

Police said “several” vehicles were broken in to Aug. 2-4 in the Riverchase area. Credit cards were stolen and later used at the Walmart on Lakeshore Drive, according to a press release.

The transactions were made by a man and woman who appeared to be driving a green 1990s-model Ford Explorer and a mid-1980s model Ford F-150 pickup.

Anybody with information on the identities of the suspects is asked to call Hoover Police Sgt. Keith Czeskleba at 739-6795.
