Rodney Dale Lodge, age 49, of Calera passed away Aug. 15, 2011. He was born March 1, 1962.

His father, JW Lodge, and his brother, Wally Lodge, predeceased him. Rodney is survived by his mother, Ernestine Lodge; sons, Rodney and Ryan Lodge; daughter, Dezarei Lodge; sisters, Amanda Bolton (Allen), Annette Morris (Robert) and Rita Cannon; and brother, Avery Lodge.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011, at Charter Funeral Home, and services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 19, 2011, at the funeral home. The burial will take place following the funeral services at Salem Cemetery in Calera. Sister Margo Parrish will be officiating. Charter Funeral Home is directing, 621-0800.
