Lavada Lucas Lawley, age 69, of Jemison passed away on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011. Her surviving relatives include daughter, Dodie Lawley; sons, Billy Ray Lawley, Gorden Lawley and Kenneth Lawley; grandchildren, Ashley, Justin, Candace, Summer, Kirsten, Dustin and Makensey; one great-grandchild; and also her companion for many years, Jimmy Hutchison.

Services will be held on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011 at 4 p.m. in Rockco’s Chapel Montevallo with Rev. Kevin Blankenship and Rev. Ray Smith officiating. A viewing will be one hour prior to her service. Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo directing, Rockcofuneralhomes.com.
