John Frederick Hanger, age 79, a resident of Wilsonville, died on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011. Graveside service will be at 11:45 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011 at Alabama National Cemetery with Bro. Howard Brasher and Bro. Phillip Rush. The family will receive friends from 9-11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011, at Bolton Funeral Home.

Mr. Hanger is survived by his wife, Louise Hanger; sister-in-law, Martha Whitfield; brothers-in-law, James W. Ingram and Roy B. Ingram; nephews, Anthony Cairo and Charles Cairo; niece, Wendy Thomas; three special grandchildren, Robert, Andrew and Denison Justice; friends, Bill and Beverly Justice; and numerous other family and friends.
