-Criminal mischief from the 3000 block of Highland Lake Road (residence, home), Birmingham. Damage valued at $3,060 was done to a 2008 BMW X3SI.

-Burglary from the 400 block of Shelby Forest Drive (residence, home), Chelsea. Stolen was a couch valued at $1,000, a chair valued at $500, a TV valued at $1,000, a DVD player valued at $200 and copper lines of unknown value from a water heater.

-Property damage from the 5500 block of U.S. 280 West (highway, street), Birmingham. Damage of an unknown amount was done to a 2006 Volkswagon.

-Transmitting obscene material to child by computer and sexual abuse from the 2500 block of Inverness Cliffs (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Theft of property from the 200 block of Brooklane Drive (highway, street). Approximately 3,000 pounds of copper wire valued at $6,000 was stolen.

-Property damage from the 1900 block of Butler Road (highway, street), Alabaster. A 1999 Acura was damaged.

-Trespass warning from the 9400 block of Highway 155 (residence, home), Montevallo.

-Harassment from the 1000 block of Newhaven Ct. (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Domestic violence (harassment) from the 2200 block of Stonecrest Drive (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Harassing communications from the 900 block of Highway 107 (residence, home), Montevallo.

-Promoting prison contraband from the Shelby County Jail (jail, prison). A white tablet was recovered.

-Harassment from the 25000 block of Highway 145 (residence, home), Columbiana.

-Permitting dogs to run at large from the 25000 block of Highway 145 (residence, home), Columbiana.

-Harassing communications from the 900 block of Highway 270 (residence, home), Maylene.

Aug. 12

-Lost badge from McDow Road (other, unknown), Columbiana.

-Theft of property from the 2400 block of Springfield Loop West (parking lot, garage), Birmingham. A 2002 Volkswagon Jetta was stolen.

-Burglary (third degree) from the 100 block of Gamefish Ct. (residence, home), Shelby. Stolen was a 32-inch TV/DVD combo valued at $600, a 26-inch TV valued at $400, an HP laptop valued at $300, a Compaq laptop valued at $450 and a variety of various jewelry, bedding and clothing items of unknown value.

-Violation of sex offender registration notification act from the 400 block of County Church Road (residence, home), Harpersville.

-Rape from from the 1300 Building on Brookhighland Lane (parking lot, garage), Birmingham. A white shirt and blue shorts were recovered.

-Impersonating a police officer from the 5000 block of Highway 61 (residence, home), Wilsonville.

-Burglary and theft of property from the 700 block of Crosscut Road (residence, home), Alabaster. Stolen was a bottle of Smirnoff vodka valued at $25, a child’s ring with a gold band and pink stone and two diamonds valued at $500 and a child’s ring with a gold band with onyx stone and two diamonds valued at $500.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from River Road (lake, waterway), Helena. Stolen was an Apple 3G I-phone valued at $400, a Samsung cell phone valued at $160 and $25 in U.S. currency.

-Theft of property (deception) from the 4800 block of County Hill Road (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen was $970 in U.S. currency.

-Harassing communications from the 100 block of Lenox Drive (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Criminal mischief from the 0-100 block of Brent Road (residence, home), Chelsea. A 1994 GMC Sierra was damaged.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Foothills Parkway (restaurant), Chelsea. Copper lines from an A/C unit and a refrigeration system were stolen.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Spring Creek Camp Road (residence, home), Shelby. A Toshiba laptop valued at $300 was stolen.

-Domestic investigation from the 0-100 block of Southwood Drive (residence, home), Alabaster.

-Domestic violence (assault) and unauthorized use of a vehicle from the 100 block of Long Walk Drive (highway, street), Shelby.

-Burglary from the 2000 block of Highway 25 (residence, home). Stolen was 100 feet of bronze copper tubing valued at $500.

-Sexual abuse from the 100 block of Spring Creek Camp Road (residence, home), Shelby.

-Criminal mischief from the 5400 block of Cahaba Valley Road (parking lot, garage), Birmingham. A 2007 Honda Pilot SUV was damaged.

-Civil dispute from the 100 block of Shoal Run Trail (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Harassment from the 100 block of Christopher Drive (residence, home), Leeds.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from the 600 block of Dusty Hollow Road (field, woods), Columbiana. Recovered were 10 Suboxone 8mg/2mg tablets valued at $100, a needle used for injecting drugs with residue and a Red Bull can used for smoking drugs.

-Willful abuse of child under 18 from Autumn View Drive (residence, home), Sterrett.

-Burglary from the 3300 block of Afton Circle (residence, home), Birmingham. An exterior door and window were damaged.

-Domestic investigation from the 600 block of Highway 31 (residence, home), Alabaster.

-Trespassing from the 1000 block of Stafford Ct. (residence, home), Birmingham.

Aug. 14

-Miscellaneous information from the 400 block of Massey Road (residence, home), Alabaster.

-Harassment from Highway 41 and Highland Lakes Road (highway, street), Birmingham.

-Property damage from the 500 block of County Road 402 (residence, home), Shelby. Damage valued at $5,000 was done to a 2003 Chevy Impala.

-Public intoxication and resisting arrest from the 5400 block of U.S. 280 (parking lot, garage), Birmingham.

-Use of force from the 5400 block of U.S. 280 (parking lot, garage), Birmingham.

-Theft of property from Magic Drive (residence, home), Columbiana. A black 9mm semiautomatic handgun was stolen.

-Burglary (third degree) from the 26000 block of Highway 25 (church), Wilsonville. Stolen was a window heat and A/C unit valued at $500 and ceiling tiles valued at $30 from the fellowship hall.

-Burglary (second degree) from the 2500 block of Highway 93 (residence, home), Helena.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and criminal mischief from the 2000 block of Highway 17 (residence, home), Montevallo. Stolen was a Magellan RoadMate 1200 GPS device valued at $100 and a white metal door valued at $200.

-Structure fire from the 100 block of Highway 50 (residence, home), Vandiver.

-Failure to pay for gasoline from 3125 Cahaba Valley Road (Shelby Food Mart), Birmingham. Stolen was $36.95 in unleaded plus gasoline.

-Property damage from U.S. 280 at Highway 119 (highway, street), Birmingham.

-Criminal possession of forged instrument from the 4500 block of Valleydale Road (drug store), Birmingham.

-Use of force report from the 3300 block of Tartan Circle (residence, home), Birmingham.

-Property damage from the 45000 block of County Highway 25 (highway, street), Vandiver. Damage valued at $1,000 was done to a 2006 KIA Sorento.

-Burglary from the 200 block of Cheshire Road (residence, home), Sterrett. Damage valued at $10,000 was done to a singlewide mobile home.

-Lost property from an unknown location (other, unknown). Stolen was a pair of princess cut diamond solitaire earrings valued at $9,000.

-Assault from the 3000 block of County Road 47 (residence, home), Shelby.

-Theft of property from the 18000 block of Highway 145 (residence, home), Shelby. Stolen was a Compaq laptop valued at $200, a GPS system valued at $190, a signature stamp valued at $60, a Brother printer/scanner valued at $200 and W-2 forms from 2000-2008.

-Death investigation from the 100 block of Blackberry Lane (residence, home), Chelsea.

-Burglary and theft of property from Tacoa Mines off Highway 10 (commercial), Pea Ridge. Stolen was a 2003 Polaris Sportsman 600 4-wheeler valued at $4,000.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle and theft of property from Tacoa Mines off Highway 10 (unknown, other), Montevallo. Stolen was a Husqvarna chainsaw valued at $300, a yellow tool back containing various electrical tools valued at $500 and copper wire of unknown value.

-Burglary (third degree) and unauthorized breaking and entering of a vehicle from Dogwood Trail (residence, home), Alabaster. Stolen was a green fiberglass Type II 6-foot ladder valued at $60, a tool bag containing various hand and power tools valued at $200, another bag and tools valued at $100 and a leather tool belt containing two hammers and two packs of saw blades valued at $125.

-Domestic violence (harassment) from the 100 block of Highway 201 (residence, home).

-Burglary from the 100 block of Sunrise Lane (residence, home), Westover. Stolen was a Browning A Bolt 300 camo stack chrome barrel valued at $1,200, a Browning Citari 12-gauage valued at $2,800, a Faustion 12-guage valued at $450, a Remington 1100 20-guage valued at $1,000, a Browning Maxis 12-guage camo valued at $2,200, a Browning 3.5 inch gold hunter NWTF valued at $1,600 and a BAR 3006 walnut stock valued at $1,500.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 1200 block of Brookhighland Lane (residence, home), Birmingham. Stolen was a Garmin GPS unit valued at $125 and a Cobra radar detector valued at $300.

-Theft of property from the 400 block of County Road 315 (residence, home). Stolen was a 1996 Buie S1 Lightning valued at $3,000.

-Harassing communications from the 100 block of Spring Camp Road (residence, home), Shelby.

-Criminal mischief from the 100 block of Lorrin Lane (residence, home), Sterrett. Damage valued at $50 was done to a bedroom window.

-Unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle from the 1100 block of Brookhighland Lane (parking lot, garage), Birmingham. Stolen was a debit card and a credit card.

-Burglary and theft of property from the 100 block of Nelson Circle (residence, home), Montevallo. Stolen was an HVAC unit valued at $700, a large propane tank and copper pipe of unknown value.

-Theft of property and burglary from the 7300 block of Cahaba Valley Road (storage facility). Stolen were two Stihl backpack blowers valued at $495.67, two Shindaiwa weed-eaters valued at $685.30, two Stihl backpack blowers valued at $475.15 and a Stihl weed-eater of unknown value.

-Death investigation from the 4700 block of County Road 71 (residence, home), Shelby.

-Trespassing and theft of property from the 100 block of Shadowood Lane (storage facility), Sterrett. Stolen were two car jacks and one four-way lug wrench valued at $70, a spare tire valued at $25, 80 pounds of aluminum cans valued at $100 and 50 pounds of sheet metal on a roll valued at $100.

Aug. 18

-Burglary (third degree) from the 10000 block of Highway 55 (other, unknown), Westover. Stolen was an HP laptop valued at $1,000 and a Vizio flatscreen TV valued at $250.

-Theft of property (shoplifting) from the Walmart at 16077 U.S. 280 (supermarket), Chelsea. Stolen was a Straight Talk phone valued at $99.98.

-Theft of property (shoplifting) from the Walmart at 16077 U.S. 280 (supermarket), Chelsea. Stolen was a bed comforter set valued at $79.76 and a King four piece set valued at $84.76.

-Theft of property from the Walmart at 16077 U.S. 280 (supermarket), Chelsea. A $100 bill was stolen.

-Recovered marijuana from U.S. 280 at Meadow (highway, street), Birmingham. Recovered was a plastic bag with 2 grams of a green leafy substance.
