John F. “Buck” Creel, 66, of Brierfield passed away Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, at his residence. Mr. Creel was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda, and son, James Randall Creel. He is survived by his mother, Frances (Sis) Creel; children, Glenn D. Creel of Brierfield, Dale Creel of Brierfield, Tina Culp (Marty) of Randolph, Mandy Richards (Andrew) of Montevallo and Jeff Tucker of Brierfield; grandchildren, Kathy Smitherman, her son, Jude Ford, Corey Smitherman (Samantha), her son, Scott Lucas, Daina Creel, Devin Creel, Ella Huffman, Gabriel Richards, Matthew Richards, Stella Tryon (Raymond) and James Creel (Patsy).

The family will receive friends at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel, Montevallo, on Friday, Sept. 2, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the chapel on Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011 at 10 a.m. with Rev.
