Mr. and Mrs. Donald Kennedy of Montevallo would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Dani Michele Kennedy, to Eric Wade Felty, son of Max and Patricia Felty of Charlotte, N.C.

Dani graduated from Thompson High School in 1998. She earned a bachelor’s degree in retail merchandising from the University of Montevallo and a master’s degree in business education from Auburn University. Miss Kennedy is currently the career technical coordinator for Homewood City Schools and coaches girls’ basketball and golf.

Eric graduated from Providence Senior High School of Charlotte, N.C. in 1992. He attended Mississippi State University and graduated with a bachelor’s in business administration and major in professional golf management and marketing. Eric is currently employed as a project manager with McLeod Software in Birmingham.

Their wedding date is set for Dec. 10, 2011, at First Baptist Church of Alabaster.
