Michael Carl Tinney, 57, of Montevallo, formerly of Winterboro, passed away at his residence, Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011. Mr. Tinney was preceded in death by his parents, John and LodemaTinney. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Cathi Tinney; son, Scott Tinney; daughter, Amanda Fox (Jason Peterson), all of Montevallo; two sisters, Linda Clifton of Millbrook and Joyce Grice of Sylacauga; and two grandchildren, Ryan and Reagan Fox.

Graveside services will be held Friday, Sept. 9, 2011, at Alabama National Cemetery at 2 p.m. with Rev. Terry Sutton officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cathi Tinney. Rockco Funeral Home, Montevallo directing. Rockcofuneralhomes.com.
