Margaret Davis Eddings, age 102, of Montevallo passed away Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2011.

She was preceded in death by husband, Oren Eddings; daughter, Virginia Baker; son, Captain O.G. Eddings (test pilot USMC); grandson, John Oren Baker; granddaughter, Linda Weatherly; grandson, James Allen Eddings; great-granddaughter, Julie Ann Baker; six sisters; and one brother.

Mrs. Eddings is survived by her grandsons, James Davis Baker of Montevallo and Tommy Baker Jr. of Jasper, Ga.; granddaughter Tish Baker of Montevallo; eight great-grandchildren, Amy Upchurch, Erin Cullop, Eric Lovelady, Ben Lovelady, Beth Baker, Brooke Brown, Abby Baker and Annalee Baker; and nine great-great-grandchildren, Elly Arnold, Sam Arnold, John Thomas Arnold, Mary Meg Arnold, Alyssa Lovelady, Evin Upchurch, Nora Deeleen Upchurch, Elias Kindle Cullop and Leah Marie Brown.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel, Montevallo, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Montevallo Cemetery. Bro. Buddy Freeman is officiating. Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo directing. Flowers and/or donations to First United Methodist Church of Montevallo.
