The Kingwood Christian School volleyball team defeated East Memorial Christian Academy 25-16, 25-19, 25-19 in high school volleyball action Sept. 15.

Casey Whitmer led the Lions with seven kills in the victory. Whitmer also posted a team-high five service aces.

Karley Chamblee contributed four kills, four service aces and a team-high 17 assists in the match.
