The Thompson High School volleyball team dropped a match with Hoover 21-25, 23-25, 11-25 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 10 match Sept. 20.

Jade Douglas led the Warriors with 11 kills in the victory. Douglas also recorded five digs.

Hailey Schatz added seven kills and six digs in the match. Kasie Holcomb posted a team-high 14 digs.

Sonia Acosta registered a team-high 21 assists in the match.
