The Kingwood Christian School volleyball team defeated Morgan Academy 25-23, 25-18, 24-26, 25-16 in high school volleyball action Sept. 26.

Madelyn Pearce led the Lions (12-6) with seven kills in the victory.

Casey Whitmer added six kills in the victory. Whitmer also recorded four service aces and four blocks.

Karley Chamblee contributed four kills, seven service aces and a team-high 20 assists in the match. Katie McElroy finished with five service aces and 11 digs.
