James E. Haddix, age 80, a resident of Vincent, died on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, at Bolton Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Pender officiating. Burial will follow at the Alabama National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service.

Mr. Haddix is preceded in death by his children, Joni Leigh Haddix and James Michael Haddix; brother, Jeffrey Haddix; and sister, Norma Lutz. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Haddix; children, Marsha Moore (Donnie) and Lynanne Haddix; grandchildren, Missy Mason and Trey Reynolds; great-grandchildren, Micah Mason, Merci Mason and Major Reynolds; brothers, Parker Haddix, Greg Haddix (Patricia); and numerous other family and friends.
