David T. Gardner

David T. Gardner, age 56 of Alabaster, passed away Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at his home surrounded by his family. David was born Saturday, Sept. 17, 1955. He was the son of the late Henry Gardner and the late Dorothea Smith Gardner.

His survivors include his wife of 34 years, Donna Florence Gardner; son, David Christopher Gardner; daughter, Candy Carter (Jerry); brothers, Michael Gardner and Terry Gardner; sisters, Kathy Wilson, Della Cox (Floyd) and Joyce Lumley (Ira); granddaughter, Morgan Carter; and grandson, Chance Carter.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011 at Charter Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. The interment will be in the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo. Reverend Robert Sandifer will be officiating.
