FROM STAFF REPORTS

IHOP restaurants countywide will celebrate Halloween a little early this year, offering kids 12 and under a free Scary Face Pancake as part of its No Tricks – Just Treats program designed to provide kids with a safe and fun Halloween event.

The “design-your-own” Scary Face Pancake includes an oversized buttermilk pancake with a whipped topping mouth and strawberry nose, served with two mini Oreo cookies and candy corn on the side to allow kids to create their own Halloween hotcake, according to an IHOP press release.

Visit a Shelby County IHOP on Oct. 28 from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. for a free Scary Face Pancake for children ages 12 and under. The Scary Face Pancake is less than 600 calories and will be offered throughout October.
